woman_smilingYour smile says a lot about you, but it can’t say anything if you’re afraid to show it off because of stained, crooked, broken or missing teeth. Do you avoid smiling, meeting new people or even going out in public because of advanced tooth decay or gum disease? Are you in constant pain and always feel like you’re fighting a pointless battle against the periodontal disease that you can’t seem to get rid of. If any of those sound like you, then Cadena Family Dentistry feels that our Smile Design system may be a good choice for you.

Think of our smile design system as a multi-treatment approach to giving you a complete smile makeover. We employ a series of procedures custom designed for your individual needs to take you from wherever you are to wherever you want your smile to be. For some patients, this may be as simple as a few crowns and some whitening. For others this may be an intense process requiring multiple procedures like extractions, implants, crowns etc.

It is even possible to remove and replace *every* tooth for patients with very severe cases, though this is a lengthy process requiring several different procedures spread out over a period of time.

The goal of the Smile Design process is to work hand in hand with the patient to create the sizzling smile of your dreams, whatever that may be. For some of you, it may be a brilliant white perfectly straight Hollywood film star smile.  For others, you may prefer a more natural look. Cadena Family Dentistry has performed hundreds of procedures as a part of our Smile Design program and will take our time making sure your results are perfect for you.

Since no two patients are the same, no two Smile Design processes will be the same – having said that; each patient will have the same basic goals and requirements. First and foremost, Cadena Family Dentistry is concerned with making sure your teeth are in functional condition to allow you to eat. For some patients, that is already the case while for others that is a major undertaking. Once that has been established, we will move on to treating any problems with gum disease or decay, tooth decay or other oral health and hygiene obstacles so that you can have a strong foundation for the cosmetic work to come.

Finally we arrive at the part that makes the biggest difference to the way that others see you – the cosmetic dentistry. Cosmetic dentistry can be anything from bonding, crowns, veneers, whitening or even reshaping of the gums!
